I teach three lessons a month and workshops. Three lessons are fantastic because you get a bye week to rest, practice, have a life. The workshops are invaluable in that when I see my students play in a different environment, I can diagnose more accurately what we need to talk about and work on. And, the workshops are fun! Some say they get nerves in workshops. You do not have to play! You may just watch and ask questions. You can see other students struggle and then have success. To gain experience and knowledge is the Showcase Music Institute philosophy. You may attend any and all of the workshops! Workshops include drums, keyboard, vocal, guitar, bass, and more, in any genre.
"When I began guitar lessons, I was looking for a teacher with a lot of patience and a good sense of humor. I found both in John and a whole lot more. He has a tremendous amount of knowledge, performing experience and teaching ability; the best teacher I have ever studied with!!!" -LAK
"I have lost count of all the ways John Epp has guided me - both personally and professionally. Simply put, my own teaching style and professional demeanor on gigs are based by and large on the spirit of John's teachings. He encouraged me to follow my instincts into a career in music, and I in turn encourage all current and future guitarists to take lessons with John Epp. He is simply the best." -Rick S.
"I have had three guitar teachers in the four years that I have played guitar. One was okay, one was really good, and one was John. John was my best teacher by a landslide. He not only teaches you tricks to make you a better guitar player, but he also teaches you any song that you ask to learn and turns you on to other songs that are fun to play. I really enjoy my lessons with him." -Sue G.
